AR Fashion Pod
Augmented reality fashion booth to try on different clothes. Used an iPad as the control interface to select garments and share a photo via email/social media including an overview of the individual garments tried on.
Technical Direction, C++/OpenGL, Obj-C, Partnered with Space3D who supplied the cloth simulation. Integrated an iPad control app and social sharing.
Engage Works, a world-leading interactive technology group, was commissioned by Avantgarde Middle East to build a Virtual Style Pod for The Galleria, on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi. Utilising the world’s first ‘accurate cloth simulation’, it enabled visitors to choose from a range of clothing and accessories while a 3D ‘virtual styling’ expert assisted with fit and colour.
